WE'RE LYNSEY AND PADDY: THE PLONKERS.

We love wine. Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to visit multiple vineyards, including some in one of our favourite wine regions – Saint-Émilion. We’ve seen the care and attention that goes into wine making and fell in love with the whole industry, from grapes on the vine to the finished article in your glass. We’ve found that the biggest challenge is keeping your wine at the right temperature when you are out & about. We want to make sure that wherever you are, and whatever the weather, you can enjoy a bottle of wine at the perfect temperature.

Picture this: you’re out having a lovely day in the sun with friends. You open the nice bottle of wine you’re excited to share, only to find its warm and not as refreshing as you’d hoped. Sound familiar? It’s certainly happened to us, and on too many occasions. So what do you do? Jam ice blocks into a backpack or drag a bulky cool bag around? We were on a road trip when inspiration struck; we needed a modern-day, portable solution to keep wine chilled all day.

If 2020 gave us anything, it was a little bit more time. With our social lives greatly curtailed and Paddy stepping away from a professional rugby career, we knew we had the perfect opportunity to turn Lynsey’s innovative ideas into reality.

Now, after nine months in the making, we are so excited for you all to get your hands on your very own PLONK BOTTLE. We hope you love it as much as we do, and we can’t wait for you to come on this journey with us. This is just the beginning!
